· Payroll Expertise: Delivering specialized payroll insights to guide the project and ensure adherence to the Holidays Act.
· Data Analysis: Conducting thorough analysis of payroll data to identify anomalies and areas requiring correction.
· Information Management: Accessing and reviewing payroll and personnel information to address data-related inquiries accurately.
· Validation and Testing: Validating outputs and tested compliant pay models developed by the remediation provider to ensure accuracy.
· System Compliance Testing: Performing rigorous testing of payroll systems to confirm compliance with the updated legal requirements.
· Working with Vendor (EY) to establish remediation models for all entities – currently waiting for version 3
· Working with National Payroll group for outcomes within models and system
· Completing Financial liability estimate – audited by Audit NZ
· Developing a National portal for all former employees
· Collaborating on the development of the change and communication plan for employees and stakeholders including union partners
· Completing remediation payments to all current employees and now working on former employees
