During my time at The Wellington Club, I endeavoured to provide every member of the club a positive and enjoyable experience. My work was centered around the Bar and Restaurant area of the club. This gave me excellent experience in interacting with a wide demographic of people, many of whom were high ranking members of society.
During my employment at Sweet Mothers Kitchen, my responsibilities included: preparing mise en place for service, ensuring cleanliness and preventing cross contamination, and the cooking of various dishes for customers. I also assisted the head chef in menu changes, and any other tasks that I could help with. This job often required working effectively in a high pressure environment, as well as clear and consice communication between other kitchen members.
Delivered food items from various restaurants in Wellington to customers. I always worked my hardest to expedite deliveries, and to ensure the food arrived in the best condition possible. Being an independent contractor, I gained real life experience in the Inland Revenue system and the processes of ensuring correct tax payments were made on time.
During my time at Burger Wisconsin Northland, I always worked to ensure high customer satisfaction through high quality products and service. I was responsible for a team of up to 5 members. This gave me skills in task delegation, cash handling procedures, produce ordering, and ensuring a harmonious and positive workplace environment.
