Summary

Having spent much time working in social services, iwi, hapū and whānau, I have learned to connect and thrive with people of diverse backgrounds, upbringing, belief systems and values. The unique opportunity added so much value to my life – this appears to be the perfect opportunity to give back to our people. The skills I have acquired over the years through the unique opportunities and mentored by strong leaderships of our communities which has supported me to help those that belong to indigenous and other ethnicities, who have lost or misplaced their connection. My belief and hope are the knowledge I have is transferrable; that it can heal, connect, and live in those who desire it.
