I value the importance of personal wellness to manage the complexities and demands of leading a school. I run, bike or complete endurance walks regularly. I have participated in the Full Ironman world champs in Kona, Hawaii, several triathlon events and over 30 marathons around the world. I have cycle toured in China, Canada, Tahiti, Tasmania, Australia and New Zealand.

I have volunteered by coaching and managing sport and activities.

I am married to Ross for 43 years and we have three children and three grandchildren.
