Summary

I am a hardworking and passionate woman with strong communication skills currently completing the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4.

I am always ready to learn and improve my skills and matauranga (knowledge) to ensure I am supporting tangata whai ora in the best way possible.

My goal is to combine my love of children and whānau with my aspiration to help and support people.

Being a wahine Māori has meant that I have a particular interest in working with tangata whenua and rangatahi in my area, specifically surrounding domestic violence.

Values and Attitudes

I believe firmly in remaining integral and following your moral code, even when it may be easier not to.

I also value my whānau and the time I spend with them. They are at the centre of everything I choose to do.

Preserving and honouring Tikanga Māori is a big part of who I am. Honouring that part of me and my ancestry is one of the most important things to me.

I believe in being empathetic, compassionate and non-judgemental to all tangata whenua and tangata tiriti as you never know what a person's story is.

I value strength and try my best to keep my healthy and strong for myself ensuring I can be the best possible support.
