Under direct supervision of registered nurse employed full time by the military whilst working with the Army surgeons in both their place of work (in this case general surgeons were in Dunedin and Waikato Hospital)

These were Biannually 2weeks at either hospitals and also annual field exercises which were throughout New Zealand
