Within in my work i assistant with clients of all disabilities which also had been higher needs i.e tetraplegics,mostly all spinal and brain injuries and also dementia,stroke clients also having peg feeding and stoma replacing and cleaning and also catheters indwelling and suprapubic,also adminstrating medications as provided and also bowel cares manual etc

Household management

This would be cleaning and maintaining a proffesional standard in the rules of what is stated by the provider.

we clean to an standard of keeping the clients house in which the clients dignity and respect is most upmost cared for and cultural beliefs respected also.

We also check to make sure that food and other items are dealt with within our management agreements to the full standard stated.

Make sure the right documentation is completed as stated with the clients plan and contract.

i.e household management is vaccuming,mopping,cleaning and sanitizing surfaces etc,dusting and making beds,washing and folding,ironing,cleaning windows,emptying rubbish and various other duties.

Personal cares

showering and dressing,applying what is needed to the client and giving medication as directed by the clients plan or the Nurse as stated in the plan or as been informed by the health proffesional.Documentating the right information required also with the 5 R'S RULES FOR MEDICATION.

Food preparation as stated by the client or plan.also completing all other tasks as directed by the persons in charge.

Physical and exercises

also as stated in the clients plan are also attended to in proffesional standard.

Charting residents progress and details intake,outtake,intake,physical and mental wellbeing (behaviour)

Preparing and assistanting with meals and fluids and medication,collecting specimens and other required things as the task is requested by the nurse or person in charge.

Documenting every detail required within the task of the task at hand.

Taking vitals,cleaning and sanitizing and health and safety and hazards

performing household maintenance and personal cares etc for the residents

Be mindful of management what is required to work within your staff and allow your workspace and place to work in an proffesional and positive way.Work together and manage the work between your staff too.Allow an easy and effective working space,help and give advice when needed but also respect each other and the residents dignity and wellbeing.

Working in the hospital wing mainly assistanting the nurse with (medications-wounds and pain relief)Gopher position and healthcare assistant,working morning,evening and evening shifts.

Have completed all training and courses and classes within the work place to comply with the work experiences needed to assist a perform for the residents within my workplace.
