  • Designed and developed an Induction for all Public Servants in New Zealand
  • Created a centralised learning hub to support all public servants access equitable and accessible learning to support them in their role.
  • Support system leads in the delivery of system learning through the Public
    Service Core Learning Hub
    Determine learning needs by analysing data and partnering with learners and
    subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to the design and development of learning assets using
    contemporary approaches, such as the Learning Cluster Design approach
    Manage key stakeholders’ relationships to ensure that stakeholders are well
    informed and are included in the development of learning

  • Designed a 6-month leadership programme specifically targeted at Service Managers leading transformational change.

  • This involved posting roles online, tracking applicants and liaising with relevant internal stakeholders

  • This process involved ensuring that all the relevant and necessary paperwork for the new starter/leaver had been obtained filed appropriately

  • Part of the team tasked to create a framework for common and consistent development for first time new people leaders, leaders of leaders and senior system leaders in their first 12 months of transitioning into those roles
  • Determined the shift in capability a leader needs to make as they transition into a people leader role, senior leader role and senior system role
  • This was through consultation with Leaders and HR and looking at international best practice
  • Facilitation of Working groups with different communities and at different levels using Design Thinking principles
  • Co-developed a suite of resources for New People Leader transition development
  • This included creating flexible development options for agencies to implement depending on their budget, capacity and capability
  • Evaluated programme pilots through qualitative and quantitate means in order to generate a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations
  • Supported HR in agencies as they rolled out the New People Leader Transition development in their agency
  • This involved partnering alongside them to ensure they are supported in the new System initiative
  • Developed an online, interactive learning hub for Aspiring Leaders looking to lift their capability, in a self-directed learning style and pace.

  • Coordinated and managed a Stocktake of programmes being delivered in agencies across the Public Sector
  • Liaised with HR/OD/L&D to gather and collate information for the HR community, reducing duplication and costs of formal development being developed and delivered by agencies by creating a means for HR to connect and share resources
  • Coordinated Leadership Insight coaching conversations
  • This involved working closely with LDC Coaches to schedule development conversations, prepare packs, provide information via Talent Exchange, and liaise with relevant stakeholders
  • Stood up 'Leader Led Master Classes'
  • This was a new concept for LDC that was derived from the Leadership Insight findings
  • The Masterclasses were a form of peer learning sessions based on one of the Leadership Success Profile capabilities
  • This involved liaising with the senior leaders who were facilitating, helped them design their content, develop communications to promote the event and manage the attendance
  • Provided administration support to Manager System Leadership Development and other members of the team
