Summary

I am a student from Oceania Careers Academy for Level 3 Carpentry. I'm looking for an apprenticeship for a Level 4 carpentry full-time job. I have some experience of 3 to 6 months from the course in carpentry. Currently, we are building a one-bedroom sleepout house. I am motivated, and I am a slow learner. I'm interested in this apprenticeship so that I can have a good future as a builder within four years.

  • I have some experience of between 3 and 6 months in building.
  • Experienced- with installing the insulation on both walls framing and ceiling
  • Working one-bedroom sleepout—currently finished.
  • Worked effectively in team environments to make the workplace more productive.
  • Operated a variety of machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintained a clean, safe working environment by removing debris from the job site prior to shift completion.
  • Performed various carpentry tasks, such as constructing walls, installing doors, windows, and siding.
  • Cleaned or prepared construction sites to eliminate hazards.
  • Performed rough carpentry tasks such as cutting rafters or studs for framing houses and buildings.
  • Used hand tools and power tools to complete builds.
  • Currently starting a two-bedroom house on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, but unfortunately, it has already been built since last year, and there were not enough students to complete the project. However, the other tutor gave us the opportunity to complete the three steps of the two-bedroom sleepout; they are quite the same thing.
