My duties at Premier Reverse Closings were part of a process known as Property Conveyancing, generally performed by Lawyers in New Zealand. I was initially employed as a Property Title Searcher. I was subsequently moved into a "Single Desk" operation with additional responsibilities for the examination of all relative documents, and compiling the same together for the presentation of Preliminary Title Reports or Commitments to Escrow. I was responsible also for examining and typing the Report or Commitment for properties throughout the USA received from Abstract Searching Companies nationwide. I also helped out in other jobs in our department. I was employed at this company until my recent move back to New Zealand to be with Family here in Tauranga.
Worked as a Title Searcher for California Properties. Also viewed and checked Preliminary Reports and Commitments for accuracy. I worked in this position until the company closed in 2008.
Started in the Distribution Department making copies of Preliminary Reports, CC&R's etc for delivery to the Escrow Teams off site. Worked up to becoming a Title Searcher before the company closed.

Responsible to Management for the efficient operation of coolstores with large ISO 9000 qualified complex in Mt. Maunganui. This port-side facility was set up to handle throughput of export dairy, meat and horticultural products (kiwifruit). I was tasked with loading and unloading trucks with forklifts and keeping records of the items coming in / storage of products in the Cold Storage Rooms and itemizing where the products were kept / pulling the products per Order Sheet for loading on the Ships or per Container Shipments (in cases where we loaded the containers ourselves).
I was given responsibility for the seasonal Kiwifruit portion of the business, looking after the unloading of trucks, storage, temperature monitoring, pulling selected pallets for checking and for shipping out of our facility.
Several years with this company, provided a thorough knowledge of the operation and management of a large export Kiwifruit Orchard, which included a Packhouse and Cool Storage Facilities. My duties in this job began with the general maintenance of the Kiwifruit orchard including the summer and winter pruning, mowing and spraying etc. During the picking and packing season, I was responsible for setting up the Packhouse and unloading the kiwifruit bins and stacking them ready to be loaded on the conveyor for sorting and packing. Also helped out with the strapping down of pallets. I also managed the coolstores including the pre cool operation, stock control, maintaining temperatures within N.Z.K.M.B specifications and export load outs. As coolstore manager, I had responsibilities for 3 on site coolstores and 4 off site coolstores.
During this time it was necessary for me to operate a large company truck to move pallets from coolstore to coolstore. Accordingly I obtained a Heavy Truck Driver's Licence.
Began my employment on the Kiwifruit Orchard were my duties were mainly to do with the vine maintenance including summer and winter pruning although in May, 1986, I helped with setting up a small packhouse operation from inception to operation.
