• Taught Y7, Y10–11 Mathematics, Y13 Calculus, and Y12 Physics, designing lessons aligned with NZC and NCEA.
• Prepared students for NCEA Numeracy by leading targeted revision lessons and creating differentiated worksheets to support weaker learners and extend advanced students.
• Designed engaging learning activities (e.g., Do Now questions, mini-whiteboard checks, Fibonacci poster project, maths games) to strengthen understanding and recall.
• Contributed to the Maths Department by designing worksheets used across Y12 classes and assisting with marking and moderation.
• Used te reo Māori vocabulary and karakia in lessons, supporting culturally responsive practice.
• Implemented a sticker-and-reward system to improve engagement; students showed clear progress in practice and assessment tasks.

Birkenhead College (first practicum): I taught Year 9 Mathematics and Year 13 Calculus, supported students in Maths Help, and participated in EOTC activities such as Matariki celebrations and the haka. I also assisted the U19 basketball team, where playing at a high level helped me earn students’ respect and strengthen engagement.

• Taught Cambridge A-Level Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, and Physics, preparing students for international examinations.
