Work History
Art Lead
Tiny Indie Studios
04.2023 - Current
As the Art Lead at a small indie game studio, I am responsible for defining and maintaining the visual direction of the game. I oversee the creation of 2D/3D assets, environments, and level design, ensuring consistency and quality across all visual elements. I collaborate closely with designers and developers to bring the game’s artistic vision to life, often contributing hands-on work due to our small team size.
For our current project Drop Point, I use Blender to model and sculpt detailed props, environments, and modular assets; Substance Painter to texture them with high-quality, physically-based materials; and Unreal Engine to integrate, light, and optimize these assets within the game world. I manage art pipelines, create shader setups, and handle technical art tasks like LODs and collision meshes to maintain performance. Additionally, I provide regular feedback and mentorship to other artists, balancing creativity with production needs and tight deadlines to deliver a cohesive visual experience.
