I am a dependable worker with a background in electrical and fire alarm systems. Currently a year into an electrical apprenticeship, I have completed both exams and acquired valuable knowledge and skills in electrical testing and fault finding. I have taken the initiative on various projects, successfully wiring control panels and PLCs based on intricate electrical diagrams. My current employer has entrusted me with significant responsibilities, allowing me to enhance my skills significantly. However, over the past year, I have realized that the industry does not align with the work-life balance I am seeking. I find myself less passionate about my current career compared to my previous role as a fire alarm technician. In that position, I gained extensive experience wiring jobs from start to finish and developed a strong understanding of conventional and addressable systems, along with industry regulations. Drawing on my combined experiences in electrical and fire alarm systems, I am well-prepared to pursue my long-term goal of establishing a career as a fire alarm technician.
