My name is Polosapina, but I prefer being called Pina – for short. I am 28 years of age, and Full Tongan. I am a passionate person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any given task. I am excellent in working in teams and also leading a team. I love to interact with people. I am friendly, cooperative and and extremely dedicated to the role I get. I started off working at a supermarket (Victoria Park New World) from 2019-2022 as a checkout operator less than 9 months I was promoted as a Checkout Supervisor followed by Senior Checkout Supervisor. From 2022, I started at Albany Paknsave as a checkout supervisor then in 2023, I was promoted Duty Manager. Being in this role came with a lot of responsibilities, but learning each day, I was able to lead and manage teams, overlook all departments, deal with customer inquiries. I have experience in practically other depts outside my dept role - checkouts, Liquor, Bakery, Deli,Chilled/Frozen, Online, Inwards, Front of House etc so being flexible and knowing what/how to handle in these departments made my job easier. I have my Liquor License, GM Cert, First Aid, Both Counter Balance/Reach License. Resourceful Duty Manager known for high productivity and efficient task completion. Skilled in team leadership, operational oversight, and customer service excellence. Possess strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills crucial for navigating day-to-day operations smoothly. Excel in fast-paced environments by leveraging adaptability and stress management abilities to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
