Mission Statement

As a result of my early involvement in sports, I have developed the following traits: cooperation, authority respect, and work ethic. I learned to be autonomous and adaptive by being the youngest member of an older squad for the most of those years, which led to my selection as captain of numerous Wellington representative teams. I developed my leadership, time-management, and most importantly, teamwork abilities through this. This is something I can apply to the workplace. All of these talents, in my opinion, are essential in any workplace context, particularly given that the modern workforce requires more collaboration with peers and teamwork.

Translating those skills into the university life of Otago I have become more mature and hard working through the life of a student. I feel that I am a happy, positive and confident through my work and life and look forward to more challenges.
