  • Company Overview: We support youth and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autistic disorders in Otago and Southland to live as participating and valued members of their communities.
  • Ensure that people supported by CCT are provided with quality, relevant, individual, and well-resourced service. I do this by developing and organizing personal plans for the people in our care, roster staff appropriately according to the needs of those people, ensuring that the plans are implemented, their health checks.
  • Recruit, retain, orientation, support, leadership and well-resourced support staff. I am responsible for 20 staff to have a strategy in place to cover all service delivery, including recruiting full-time, part-time, casual and permanent reliever staff to be able to provide levels of support for a wide range of people who need our support and care. I am directly responsible for recruitment, orientation, rostering, timesheets, and tracking their performance to ensure that they are carrying out their work competently. If there are any issues with performance or abuse (of both groups i.e., staff or the people in our care) I follow this up and ensure an investigation is carried out to ensure that all staff and people in our care are cared for safely and within our health and safety requirements. I am involved in the payroll process.
  • Efficient use of limited resources. It is my responsibility to ensure that staffing, rostering, and budgeting (related to the people in our care's benefits) are controlled and used efficiently.
  • I am committed to continuous professional development and regularly undertake courses that enhance my skills. My health and safety training is up to date, and I readily fulfill all reasonable requests from the Service Manager relevant to my role.
  • I have experience conducting needs assessments to support funding applications and securing additional resources for service users. I am highly skilled in process optimization, ensuring tasks are streamlined and executed efficiently. I excel in organizing people and activities, structuring workflows, and simplifying complex processes to maximize efficiency.
