Food Safety and Quality:

• Monitor and adjust machines to produce product within standards and quality specifications
• Follow allergen, glass/hard plastic, metal procedures
• Conduct and record process quality checks, if required.
• Identify and rectify and/or report if product is not within standards and quality specifications
• All raw and packaged material visually inspected before use
• Samples of raw materials taken as per specification
• Record traceability information
• Minimise complaints within targets
• Report pest sightings
• Bag and tag items that do not belong in the production area
• Carry out cleaning to the required standard
• Follow HACCP procedure

Production:

• Operate, monitor and adjust machines to produce quality product within specifications
• Correct materials loaded and transferred as per current recipe
• Ensure required quantities of raw materials stock and non stock items are maintained
• Identify and rectify or report machine faults
• Minimise waste to within targets
• Minimise downtime

• Organizing and planning work schedule for staff
• Plan, formulate and implement purchasing policies and marketing policies
• Stock control and ordering the consumable products
• Keeping records of the financial transactions for the higher management
• Thorough healthy and safety, security checks, enforcement and ensuring compliance
• Selection, supervising and evaluating the staff
• Ordering the machinery, equipment and supplies for operation.

• Manage and monitor seed processing
• Collect and analyze production data of seed processing and quality control to identify areas for improvement of various attributes likes of quality, size and purity
• Identify key factors in field production to optimize seed processing objectives
• Timely compliance with process documentation, including established process metrics, data tracking and entry into company databases
• Coordinate the inventory and order of the seed in storeroom
• Coordinate the purchase of the necessary materials for the processing of seeds.

• Operating and maintaining seed conditioning equipment including a gravity separator, a fanning mill and an optical sorter
• Operate and maintain seed treating equipment
• Packaging seeds as required by customer sales orders and making sure it is properly labelled and maintain shipping documents
• Sampling of incoming and outgoing products for the sake of lab testing to ensure quality.
