Summary

Motivated Social Worker with the knowledge of social justice issues and systems affecting communities. Passionate about developing and facilitating programs to support communities in need. My main focus is to walk alongside whaanau who are facing many adversities and support them to navigate any issues that they face with hopes they achieve their goals with a positive outcome.

I work collaboratively with other organisations as Parentline are apart of the 'Mana Whaanau Collective' which includes - Parentline, Tuu Oho Mai, Barnardos, SHAMA and K'aute Pasifika.

I have a positive attitude towards my mahi with the willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. I have a supportive team and a great work environment where we are lead by extraordinary leadership from our CEO.

  • Attended Trainings – Trauma informed care, Trained in DTB (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) and E Learning Modules.
  • Learning and implementing policies and procedure.
  • Medication Support – Administering medication using the 5 R’s process.
  • Deescalating situations in a crisis and identifying safety risks. Providing DBT when needed handling emergencies and incidences under pressure.
