Te Puna Reo o Puhi Kaiti is a Maori immersion centre of excellence where they provide high quality education for children aged 0-5yrs of age. The curriculum is based on Ngati Poroutanga and they foster Leadership from the Wisdom of Tipuna.

This Centre of Excellence won the Prime Ministers Award for Best Teaching & Learning Education setting in New Zealand 2016. The only Maori Early Childhood centre to become finalist against Primary and Secondary schools
