I see work as not just a place to make money but a really important part of my life. If i am going to spend hours of my life a week at a job it is really important to have meaningful connections with those around me, to build trust and friendship. i place a lot of importance on developing these connections with coworkers. i love to make friends through work and have really strong friendships with my coworkers from my current position.
The most recent mess up that comes to mind is when i was at Ara working on a students car. i was torquing down a head stud to spec and it snapped, leaving all of the thread in the cylinder head and block. I handled this by going to my Tutor, taking accountability, telling him the issue and how i was going to fix it. which was to drill a pilot hole in the centre of the broken bolt and to use an easy-out set, ensuring not to damage the threads on the way out. I am really confident in taking accountability for my mistakes when they occur, and good at using the experience to grow further and try and ensure those mistakes dont happen again.
