I feel I have strong communication and prioritization skills as this has been a huge part of every role I've had the opportunity to fill.

I encourage a safe and interactive working environment. This is really important to because I want colleagues to feel valued, to work to their strengths, to feel like a valued team member, and to feel confident to engage openly without fear of being rejected, criticized or humiliated.

I bring positivity to the team as I enjoying working in a team, plus having a great culture produces great output. I enjoy team activities and always volunteer to be part of committees for social events. I am a strong believer of having fun on the job whilst maintaining focus on work priorities.

I am a professional as I do have my own standards, being an analysis I am always curious and want to know what individuals are working on and what I can assist with, I like to be ahead of the game and be able to represent a team in the absence of managers and to be able to answer the hard questions from the various stakeholders.

Senior Business Analyst

My latest role as a Senior Business Analyst of 14 years has been challenging to say the least, working on complex systems, working with multiple stakeholders, leadership teams and multi million dollar projects with demanding deadlines, but what a ride, enjoyed every moment of it and learnt a lot and gained some amazing relationship internally and externally.

Some of my highlights:

  • Lead business analyst for delivery teams
  • Acting Scrum Lead in their absence
  • Facilitate daily team stand-ups and team ceremonies such as team planning and retrospectives
  • Managed stakeholder expectations through transparent communication and timely status updates, ensuring alignment between project deliverables and business objectives.
  • Created detailed user stories for system enhancements, leading to improved functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Facilitated requirement gathering workshops, resulting in clear project objectives and deliverables.

During my time as a Senior Business Analyst I also had the opportunity to act as a Product Owner for my team. This was a very rewarding role and it was unfortunate that the role was fixed for 1 year.

As a Helpline Advisor I became an subject matter expert in all Work and Income products, services, systems, policy and legislation.
