Skillset

As a professional currently employed in a Regional Manager's role and responsible for two territories, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to drive operational excellence, navigate complex commercial landscapes and formulate strategic direction to achieve business objectives.

For example, in my current employment, I am required to optimise project workflows, implement cost saving measures, and instillation efficiencies. I actively assess the market, emerging trends with the position of gaining more market share. I react appropriately to provide a strategic direction that aligns with the skillset of my various teams.

I understand the importance of business strategy to provide staff a positive culture, clear direction and productive workplace. I am proficient and confident in financial reporting - including profit and loss reports and commentary, setting and reviewing budgets (KPI’s), individual branch targets.

Over my working career, I have proven experience in sales, implementing systems and procedures, managing health and safety requirements, writing and achieving budget targets, employment disputes, contract negotiations and staffing resources for jobs. I am articulate and results driven, which means I work hard to ensure expectations are met on time and within budget.

I am reliable and can work autonomously, however also like being part of the team. I am solutions focused and pride myself on getting the best out of my team when applying their strengths to the work environment.

My  staff management style is to provide a positive work culture, open communication, and clear expectations. This approach builds a strong team environment and respect that also brings satisfaction in their employment and pride in their work which is important to me.

One of my key skills and is an important part of my current role is to actively problem solve across territories.  I expect open communication from my teams and apply the “no surprises” approach, meaning if we know about it, we can do something to manage or fix it. I have worked hard on this approach and has proven to be successful. It generates strong relationships, trust and communication between my teams which is important for the overall success of each territory.

I am intrinsically aware of the importance of brand reputation, customer service and satisfaction. I am experienced in employment matters - staff retention, discipline and setting expected standards.
