Its important to me that practices of the past are brought forward to teach our kids about life cycles of the water, plants, insects, tuna, fish and birds and how important the maramataka is to our environment and well-being. my sons have Autism which has introduced me to a whole new community of people who uplift each other with advice, space or just a listening ear and has created a whole new lens for me to see the world through.
