Kia ora,
Ko toku ingoa Reahn Dobbie. I am currently looking for casual relieving work. I am a qualified Early Childhood teacher and mother of 1 to my son Cooper who has just turned 2. I have a natural enjoyment of people, I can confidently relate to and converse with all age groups, especially towards tamariki. I take pride in providing an engaging environment that reflects on nga tamariki interests and creating an inviting presence where they feel comfortable to join in and participate. I enjoy working in collaboration with kaiako, working out the best place for me to be that is most helpful for the team. I enjoy the challenge of change. I have a keen ability to adapt quickly and enjoy learning within new areas to suit your centre and reach your philosophy to help nga tamariki strive in the way they know best.
Nga mihi
I am currently working for the family business doing office and administration. As we operate as an seasonal business we peak over summer and have a quiet season thought winter it leaves me with the flexibility to work from home gives me plenty of time to focus of other activities
I started working with Smart Start in 2018 and undertook my study towards my Bachelor of teaching. I passed my Bachelor of teaching degree in July 2021 and started my journey towards becoming a Fully registered kaiako. I have completed a year of my teachers registration before leaving Smart Smart to spend more time with my son Cooper.
I have experience in all age groups however, I did spend most of my time caring for the 0-2 year olds and thoroughly enjoyed my time down there. My role included but was not limited to care time routines, korero with whanau, learning stories, opening & closing shifts and general day to day runnings of the Centre.
