I worked as a Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Diabetes Dietitian working within the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. My role was primarily community based, consisting of 0.9 Diabetes and 0.1 General Paediatrics. This includes both independent and MDT clinics, adhoc telephone consultations and domiciliary visits. There was also an aspect of flexible acute working for newly-diagnosed diabetes patients where the aim to discharge home within 24 hours
