Summary

I hold a BSc with a double major in Forensic Analytical Science and Pharmacology. This degree has equipped me with a strong foundation in laboratory based procedures, analytical techniques, and a deep understanding of the importance of ethics and confidentiality. My academic background has fostered a methodical and analytical mindset, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and scientific reasoning. In addition to my academic training, I have gained valuable professional experience in healthcare through my roles as a Mental Health Assistant in an adult acute inpatient unit, and as a Healthcare Assistant in aged care. These positions have strengthened my ability to work effectively in pressured environments, manage sensitive information, and communicate clearly and professionally. Working closely with vulnerable populations has also developed my observational and interpersonal skills, along with a heightened awareness of mental health, behaviour, and risk.

I am now seeking to bring together my academic background and healthcare experience in a forensic setting. My goal is to apply my knowledge and skills in a meaningful way that supports justice, public safety, and the integrity of forensic processes.
