• Generating accurate technical reports for engineering staff to be able to diagnose faults with any equipment in their control.
• Work closely and cordially with all clients and colleagues to produce best possible results.
• Guide new Directors and PAs through the post-production process, assisting them with decision making.
• Help guide voice over talent with pronunciation, diction, delivery style, etc.
• Communicate effectively with clients to interpret their requests.
• Work to achieve those ideas and requests both as a team, and independently.
• Assist in the training of new Audio staff, in all aspects of sound, including music editing, live studio productions, voice over recording, and mixing.
• Applies technical knowledge of sound recording equipment to achieve the determined artistic objectives
• Be accountable and offer technical solutions for issue resolutions for all audio deliverables in relation live studio broadcast productions.
• Be able to quickly identify and implement backup/alternative methods of service provision in the event of a disruption of service while live on air.
• Must have the ability to create high standard audio mixes in Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound formats for both live studio and post-production deliverables.
• Maintain accurate technical standards, with regard to levels, loudness, phase, balance, compression, and EQ, in line with the station’s current policies.
• Needs to have excellent hearing ability to identify the proper pitch, volume or effects for each sound involved in a production.
• Ensure that all material is accurately archived utilising the relevant business applications and technology, and that superseded versions cannot be mistakenly accessed.

Extreme music is one of the worlds largest production music libraries. In this role I wrote over 150 pieces of music which were used all over the world on various TV shows and advertisements as well as engineering voice-over/audio post and musical recordings for broadcast During this time I also worked in-house when required in Santa Monica, California.

• Recording voice-overs and post-production
• Mixing broadcast-quality audio post sessions
• Working to industry standard broadcasting specifications
• Audio editing using the latest digital technology
• Working under extreme pressure to meet deadlines
• Archiving, backing-up, and organising all session files
• Communicating effectively with people in a variety of positions
