  • I started at Anglican Trust for Woman and Children in 2017 and been working as a Social Worker in schools since then
  • I became a senior practitioner in 2019 and worked in 4-5 different schools, from primary up to college level, since 2017
  • This has helped me to develop my skills in building relationships between whanau and schools
  • I have also supported three schools at Great Barrier Island for a couple of years
  • I went there with Orange Tamariki and had meetings with the schools to discuss plans and goals with the community
  • As a senior practitioner I support our Social Worker team and work as a link between the managers and the team
  • I also attend an Oranga Tamariki panel once a month for case consultations
  • I facilitate programs, such as Building Awesome Whanau and seasons for growth in different terms, as well.
