I am a highly motivated, active relaxing individual who enjoys being busy and having a sense of purpose. I enjoy assisting others to become the best version of themselves, particularly with regard to water sports and personal development which is my passion! I have a strong sense of community and fairness which has led to my interest in studying law. I enjoy getting involved in voluntary work and am currently working with a group of students on the project 'Law for change' which raises awareness of legal issues and offers student support. I am also a community patrol volunteer supporting local police with community safety issues. I am reliable, organised and an excellent communicator, ready to learn new skills, meet new people and maintain a sense of humour!
I love the outdoors! I have enjoyed regular swimming at Moana Pools, Dunedin this year and the early morning experience at Okato pools during summer when home from University. I enjoy sailing and have found great satisfaction through coaching children and adults new to sailing. I am currently learning to surf and also enjoy tramping on our stunning Taranaki maunga or completing the NZ Great Walks with my family. In my downtime I love to read and debate politics and philosophy with my friends!
