I am a competent and hard worker who shows an interest in carpentry. I have experience from Ara in power tools and hand tools. I have done framing, drywalling, scaffolding, timber scaffolding, concreting, demolition, site set outs and made various projects in the workshop such as a saw stool and toolbox. I have also made stools, decks, fences and saw stools during my time in construction class at school.
Air cadets taught me many values, one of the main ones being discipline. I learnt the properties of an effective team and what is expected of a leader. During my time at cadets I progressed my way through the ranks to Corporal. After my time at cadets I am now applying the skills I have learnt to my course and any other team based activity/work.
I am a member of the Air New Zealand Flying Club (ANZFC) with the aspirations of attaining my private pilots license (PPL)
I like riding dirt bikes. I am also getting into vintage dirt bike restorations. I take a big interest in fixing, maintaining and modifying cars. I think that the skills such as problem solving really reflect well in my carpentry course and would continue to do so in any future work.
Currently hold a workplace first aid certificate and a Red Cross essential first aid certificate.
