Ricky Jones

Im Ricky Jones. Im 35 years old, and have recently relocated to Dunedin from Wellington. I have over 4 years experience of running small to medium sized painting companies, and another 6 or so in a leadership/ management role. Although this is within the construction industry, I am familiar with office culture. I actually worked in ACC's Business Service Centre for roughly a year in 2005. I was a CSR and assisted in the 'buddy' training system helping new staff learn the ropes. I was inline to be promoted to a Technical Advisor but a change in family circumstances forced a relocation to the Gold Coast in Australia.

I have extensive experience on site in the Construction industry. And have a fair idea of the build process from start to finish. A lot of the painting quoting i have done has been directly off plans, which im sure would be an asset to me in a quantity surveyor role.

I'm an easy going and approachable person. I love fitness and getting outdoors. The perfect weekend would include surfing, hiking, and exploring local restaurants. I am highly motivated and ambitious, and am excited at the prospect of returning to a more professional working environment.
