Riki Broughton

The company's line of work was to build trailers and brand new trucks and turn them into loggers. While I was working for Evans we also took on the work for modern transport Engineering. Mte required us to build trailers for them which included bin trailers, low loaders etc. This roll was quite diverse as I worked with the finishing bay which got the trailers roadworthy for the new owners. The list is quite long when it comes to the roles I had to play. I was responsible for any final welds fitting of the wheels fitting of the brakes helping out with running the electrical wiring helping out with running the Airlines and also the hydraulic lines quality control was quite a tedious job as we had to pick up any little fault we could find and fix it before releasing the truck or trailer to the new owners.

This job required to be diverse and skill as I worked on anything from building a cow shed from the ground up to maintaining and altering agricultural equipment such as tractors trailers balers irrigation etc. I also picked up the skill to Prime and paint working with different solvents thinners hardeners and paints. In this role I was also required to be able to drive a forklift and lift heavy loads.
