I am a proactive and adaptable professional who values whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, and inclusion in everything I do. As a worker, I take ownership of projects and operational responsibilities. As a person, I am committed to supporting tamariki, whanau, and diverse communities, ensuring cultural responsiveness and respect guide my actions. As a learner, I actively seek growth and knowledge.
I am responsible for pricing and managing high-end items, overseeing and maintaining our online sales space, and handling customer interactions, both in person and online. My role includes selling through digital platforms, resolving conflicts in a professional and timely manner, and ensuring smooth communication with customers. I also prepare sales reports and project ideas whilst managing a range of computer-based tasks, supporting the efficiency and growth of our operations.
While training as an ECE teacher, I worked in a center supporting children's learning and family engagement. During this time, I developed a strong interest in inclusive practice, particularly the integration of te reo Māori, and better support for children with learning disabilities, which led me to study further in these areas.
Working within arboriculture from ages 16 to 19, supporting day-to-day stump grinding and tree removal operations. This role involved preparing worksites, handling equipment, and maintaining high health and safety practices. This position strengthened my ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment.
