ROMY HENDRICKS CURRICULUM VITAE PERSONAL STATEMENT “Set them up to win”. “Romy Shereen is a positive, motivated, and optimistic individual. Romy carries and displays strong Christian values driving effective interpersonal leadership skills”. A devout Christian serving as a backing vocalist, vocal coordinator, pastoral mentor, and care in the creative arts team. Spiritual guidance and reflective teaching have become core part of my 'mana'. These values are what I breath daily and imbed in my vocation. I love people and sharing Christian teachings based on Biblical truths, brings me so much joy and fulfillment. Pastoral support thus becomes natural in nurturing, caring and imparting direction. A fully registered teacher in New Zealand with a current practice certificate. Qualifications specific in Biblical Studies, Psychology and History a major subjects. Moreover,I have fulfilled various roles that have expanded and grown me to be the educator and leader I am today. Being a passionate teacher/mentor is an integral part and cornerstone for the success of students. I am committed to support the best outcomes for all my students. My strongest WHY is the passion and belief that all students deserve the best quality education/support. I am dedicated to raise the bar for student overall wellbeing. I value the importance of inclusiveness and diversity; to see growth and change. Being deliberate and intentional with my WHY my WHAT and My HOW! "Knowing my students/participants and committed to see them thrive in an environment that I can be part of creating". I have learnt to be adaptable, non-judgmental, and always eager to learn new skills. I thrive in collaborative work environments and value the exchange of constructive feedback. A forerunner who will advocate the importance of fostering strong foundational relationships in a profession especially in a special character school. Using self-efficacy, self-regulation, and motivation as facets to secure trust and respect. Embedding these key pillars in my profession, I believe, will set ALL I work with, to be Winners!!!!!

Responsibilities: Vocalist/ Musician Vocal coordinator / Choir leader. Mentoring/pastoral care small teams. Motivator and bible teaching to small groups. Speaker at conferences - Reflect Christian Bible based teaching and mentoring co-curricular activities: Music coordinator; production & showcase -director. Educational/ cultural group/trip manager.
