I was brought up on a farm, grew up in Westport and attended buller high school and got all my NCEA levels. I wanted to follow my passion which was evident that I wanted to pursue a trade involving building. My parents always told me once you get a trade you can go anywhere in the world! And come straight back to your trade to full back on.
My other interests are hunting, working out at the gym. Fishing and mountain biking.
I had plenty of experience with this company before hand, they took me in for short term bases.
Mainly doing designed architectural buildings.
Set out and putting in foundation boxing.
Rafters, internal boxed gutters, framing out steel the lot
Breen construction was one of the best companies to work under. I had alot a fun and laughs got along with all the workers there.
My time working with them really helped hone my skills.
The majority of my duration working there I was out on a massive marina apartment complex which took well over a few years.
Work involved, heavy commercial tilt panels pouring concrete floors. From top to bottom. Each three story building had access down an elevator to the lobby down stairs to there personalised storage room and garages.
Various other work I was involved such as passive homes for the Queenstown housing trust. Lead a group of us and put up 13 houses.
