Rosalina Leigh Te Kowhai

I am self-motivated, and can use my initiative, and am always keen to learn new skills, and work hard on self-development. I am always open to new roles and responsibilities. I am an honest and reliable person. Time management is important to me, I know how important it is to be punctual and on time to all shifts I am required to work. My verbal and written skills are also of a high standard. I am a bilingual speaker of English and Te Reo Māori.

Duties included; Kapa haka tutor for both boys and girls of all ages (Year 1-Year 13) Choreographing, writing and teaching songs, haka, actions, poi and taiaha to the groups.

Highlight – winning Area Schools division as well as the sub categories, Te hui Ahurei o ngā kura o te Tai Poutini, 2018.

I have a passionate interest in both music and art.  As an introverted extrovert (I am outgoing and sociable, but draw my energy from the quiet), I like meeting new people and making new friends. I also like participating in activities outside my home whenever I get the chance.
