  • I assisted teaching in 2022, along with the studio owner Briony, and worked with the younger Ballet kids
  • Last year (2023), I had 3 of my own classes to teach, which involved preschoolers and primary aged kids (5-7 year olds).
  • Teaching requires daily planning and having organisation to work with younger students
  • I sort class plans for each week, and need to be ready to teach the kids with whatever they might bring
  • My study is going to further my experience and knowledge surrounding Ballet Teaching.

  • During holidays I picked up extra shifts, and work 4 full days a week during the summer holidays
  • This job has allowed me to be confident and open, talking to customers and helping to solve problems
  • It has helped me to gain excellent customer skills
  • I work with a large team and help out with other jobs if needed, which also includes retail experience
  • No longer work permanent hours due to my study commitments, however work on a casual basis where needed.
