For this job, I conduct in-store product tastings and engage with potential customers to generate interest, share information, offer samples, and ultimately, make sales. I am currently working for The Bee Club and their October campaign.

• Set up and cleaned up food preparation and service stations before and after catered events. This role requires high energy and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of people.

• I was selected to receive a scholarship, through the Puhoro STEM Academy, to work with a PHD student to help her research in Māori plant-based food enterprise at Massey University, Palmerston North. This involved collaborating both independently and in a professional team environment. I quickly learned new skills and applied them to daily tasks.

• I operated in all areas of the kitchen including the fryers, pass, front of house and grills. This taught me a lot about food safety and how to work with a wide range of customers under time pressure.
