Roles and Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients.
• Assessing medical issues and providing immediate care to prevent complications.
• Assisting physician with examination and treatment.
• Administrating medication.
• Providing wound care.
• Well Baby Clinic: Performing routine immunization while maintaining cold chain, assessing growth and development as per age of baby, educating mother on breastfeeding and weaning. Educating parents regarding vaccination and post vaccination care.
• Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans.
• Ambulatory assessment of patients in specialty clinic such as family medicine, well women clinic, antenatal clinic.
• Ensuring the privacy, dignity and safety of the clients.

• Assessment room: Assessing patients’ vital signs, recording their medical history, preparing them for exams and treatments, administering medications, monitoring side effects, evaluating care plans.
• Treatment room: Performing wound care, assisting physician in medical procedures.
• Recording ECG, drawing blood and urine samples for lab work.
• Undertake clinical tasks including I/M medication and I/V cannulation.

• Under the supervision of a Registered General Nurse, I was responsible for recording clinical observations, taking vital signs, administering medications, and evaluating care plans, performing wound care, assisting in medical procedures, operating, and monitoring medical equipment
• Make sure that individuals' privacy, dignity, and safety are always maintained

• Delivering lectures in classroom as well as demonstrating clinical procedures.
• Evaluate and grade students’ class work, laboratory clinic work.
• Prepare course materials like syllabi, homework assignment.
• Assess clinical education needs and client teaching needs using a variety of methods.
• Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
• Collaborating with hospital and other institutional agencies to provide clinical experience to students under faculty supervision.
