After working in the Heretaunga College Cafeteria for a year, as part of my NCEA level 3 studies, I found my passion working in the hospitality industry as a chef/kitchen hand, especially cooking great food.
I love being part of a team. I enjoy working together to provide a quality experience for customers so they will come back for more of the food I cook. I am very dependable, honest and a hard worker. I strive to do a good job with whatever task is thrown my way. I look forward to learning new cooking techniques and recipes to widen my skill set to become a more valued asset to my employer.
I was honoured to be the only student selected to work with Annabelle White during her 2 day cooking demonstration at the Wellington Food Show while I was studying at WelTec. It was an amazing opportunity to work along side one of New Zealand's top chefs.
I am looking for a cooking position that will allow me to continue to learn and be given more responsibilities and progress to, one day, being a head chef.
