Summary

Dynamic Allied Health Assistant with a proven track record at ABI Rehabilitation NZ, enhancing patient care through effective communication and therapeutic techniques. Skilled in patient care coordination and time management, I fostered a supportive environment that improved patient outcomes and engagement, contributing to a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

I have been with ABI Rehabilitation for five years, during which I’ve developed a deep understanding and growing passion for working with individuals affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI). I began my journey as a Rehabilitation Assistant and progressed into the role of an Allied Health Assistant, gaining valuable clinical experience across all four therapy teams Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Language Therapy (SLT). Over time, I discovered a strong affinity for the SLT team, where I’ve continued to grow both personally and professionally. This experience has solidified my commitment to the field, and I am excited to continue this journey toward becoming a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist.
