I go by the name Jordan and I am an energetic and fit worker who loves a challenge and works well with others. I am a father of two young babies and a husband who I dedicate everything too. I would like to develop my skills in whatever I choose to reside in. I am a very active person who is involved in sports and cultural activities. Through previous work I have learnt to quickly adapt to new environments or problems. I also find myself quickly fitting in and working well with co-workers. I am committed to being punctual and always showing up and being on time, also putting 100% into given tasks. Lastly if I see something that needs to be done I won't hesitate to do it, as I pride myself in hard work and getting jobs done to the highest standard and on time.

My current job is asphalting working on roads doing car parks, driveways and main roads.

  • Showing up to work on time, hours could be different everyday depending on what we got on so being able to show up to work on time is a must.
  • Loading up the truck with the correct gear required for the job ahead.
  • Once on site unloading all the gear and getting set up for the job.
  • Start by spraying tac on the surface where the asphalt will be laid require 2-3 guys one person holding the line one person spraying and someone in the ute driving.
  • My main job is wheel barrels at the moment as i’m still learning this new trade.
  • Since being at this job I have gotten my Wheels tracks and rollers done on my license as well my class two full truck license.
  • If needed I can drive the cab around to get us to and from sites as well as driving with a trailer hooked on.

  • Heavy lifting of boards/GIB and delivering to construction, commercial and residential sites.
  • We needed to work fast and efficiently, this involved calling the builders in regards to the delivery and communicating with other workers as a safety procedure.
  • Communicating with customers to ensure the site was safe and ready for delivery.
  • Depending on the access of the site and the weight of the delivery we would have more workers on site to help out.
  • We would do three deliveries a day that would take roughly an hour and a half to do each.
