A largely autonomous role where I was a key operational driver in a “start up” business. Leading the creation of processes, systems and procedures as a platform for growth. Business was established 6 years ago and now over 150 people, currently has 9 offices nationwide. Key efforts included:
¨ Lead the name and brand development and launch of the company’s brand/logo / identity, working closely with directors, selecting and working with suppliers, sign-offs on look and feel and vision and mission of the business. Launched and maintain the website & Linkedin page, plus all other materials such as brochures, business cards, sign writing including trademarking of logo.
¨ Developing and implementing the company’s values
¨ Human Resources – fortnightly payroll, legislation knowledge, recruitment (direct and through agencies), writing policies / processing, drafting contracts, dealing with disciplinaries. Facilitating team restructures. Assisting with annual reviews, performance reviews. First level support to Team leaders and directors.
¨ Operational/ admin duties and projects as required including but not limited to securing new offices, arranging insurances, maintaining landlord relationships including cleaners /rent payment OPEX etc. purchasing vehicles/arrange leased vehicles, database and Xero accounting/financial duties. Securing new offices during growth phase and undertaking extensive refit and arranging moves, office gear etc.
