I performed my duties as Branch Manager (Vice President-I) at Bank of Khyber University Road branch Peshawar, Pakistan where I was responsible for Marketing & Business development, managing internal and external affairs, opening of new accounts as well as maintenance of the existing accounts. Beside this I was also responsible for opening of term deposit accounts, reporting of financial figures to the head office.

I joined MCB Bank Limited as Officer Grade III in its Conventional Banking branch after acquiring the initial training of three months in its circle office Peshawar Pakistan, I was deputed as General Banking Officer at Jamrud Road Peshawar Branch. During my stay in MCB Bank Ltd I had the opportunity to serve at the following positions.

Branch Manager: (September 2011 till April 2022)

I performed my duties as Branch Manager (First Vice President) at MCB Hayatabad Peshawar branch, Pakistan where I was responsible for Marketing & Business development, managing internal and external affairs, opening of new accounts as well as maintenance of the existing accounts. Beside this I was also responsible for opening of term deposit accounts, reporting of financial figures to the head office. I have been elevated as Branch Manager for first time in MCB Dalazak Road Peshawar branch in November 2011.

Branch Operations Manager: (September 2007 to August 2011)

I had acquired in-depth knowledge of General Banking, Foreign Exchange and general operations at branch level. I performed my duties as Branch Operation Manager where I was responsible for management of the entire operations of the branch including supervision of daily operational activities/affairs, Account opening and effective implementation of KYC, AML and Prudential Regulations. Daily checking and countersigning of all vouchers and cheques, daily checking of Cash in Hand position and its insurance coverage. Balancing of Security stationery, Marketing of MCB’s Products Portfolio, introducing new corporate clients, Searching and Analyzing potential customers, Assessing Client’s Creditability, Financial Statements Analysis, Dealings with National and Multinational Banks, Managing movements of funds, Final Accounts and preparing various financial reports regarding credits. Meeting the clients from time to time to assess their financial needs and their existing business performance for credits purposes.
