SAM LEAUANAE
Sam cut his industry teeth in an “end to end” production house RPM Pictures boasting his first colourist job - painting the RPM fence! The hands-on problem-solving environment led to a position with Images & Sound as their Symphony editor for all Avid mastering. The pull of the freelance world is where Sam was drawn and found his love of storytelling on projects such as Waka Huia, Great South Stories, Wild Kai Legends and more recently Pacific Island Food Revolution.
Sam is Head of Post on his own boutique post house IVA Post (a nod to his village IVA, Savai’i, Western Samoa). Aptly named as Sam’s style of editing often ties in themes from his own life journey.
