I have worked in the Prison sector and believe my training and experience will make me a great candidate for this role as I am extremely processed driven and act strictly to health and safety standards. I am great with people, I have an extensive knowledge of Māori and Pasifika culture, bilingual in both English and Tongan. I am physically fit as a professional athlete in the realm of boxing, and my build is 6'4 and weigh 110kg.

  • Patrol facility or man post as instructed, serve as a general security as a general presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
  • Detect suspicious activity and watch for criminal acts or near assigned post which may be a threat to the property, client or employees at the site.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the external and internal boundaries of the site as detailed in the SOP. (Standard Operation Procedures)
  • Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintaining security of premises.

  • Kaitaki is a 24/7 Youth Justice residential programme for young males detained in Oranga Tamariki custody.
  • Drives and supports youth to comply with their bail conditions and minimise potential risks to the community, whilst nurturing and assisting whanau to promote a positive future at home.
  • Aims to reduce reoffending by restoring personal mana and cultural identity. Working with both female and male clients, the programme runs for 12 weeks for young people between 14-17 years of age.
  • Assists in building pathways to skill development and employment for youth.
  • Support children and young people involved with Oranga Tamariki with one-on-one minding.
  • Supervise and care for young people in a wide range of circumstances for short, mid or long-term time frames.
