I am originally from Wellington and attended Kapiti College. I graduated Kapiti College in 2019, attaining NCEA level 1-3 and graduating NCEA level 3 with a merit endorsement. I am a hard working and always eager to learn new things to develop self growth.
During these years in school, I've played multiple sports including mainly Rugby and Basketball which has taught me team work and team dynamics.
I've also participated in individual sport such as Cross-country, this has taught me the competitiveness nature individual sports have compared to team sports.
In 2020 I had a gap year working mainly as a labourer developing concrete foundations but also spent time painting too.
2021 began studying Sport and Recreation at AUT university with the intention of Majoring in Exercise Science. I finished that year with a B+ average.
Now in 2022 I am able to move into my major of Exercsie Science where I am beginning to learn skeletal and muscle function and translating it into a sports context.
During my gap year I worked doing concrete foundations. The job taught me work ethic as we were given high standards and expectations whilst still working 55-60 hour weeks.
I was an assistant coach for my younger brothers basketball team. I gave the team basic warmup and skills drills before the game. I spoke to the players during the game giving support and advice. This was volunteer work and was considered to be casual basketball.
