Work History
Health Care Assistant and Admin
Whanau Ora Community Clinic
09.2020 - 12.2022
During the COVID-19 pandemic I worked at this company as a health care assistant and admin.
The job consisted of interacting with patients to obtain and enter in their details, organising testing equipment and supporting the nurses as they were swabbing patients.
The job involved a fast pace work environment that forced you to adapt with the ever-changing COVID restrictions at the time.
I was involved in testing patients at testing stations, in their homes, isolation facilities, retirement homes, boarding houses, hostels and prisons. Most days involved interacting with over 100 patients a day.
Reduced risk of infections by adhering to strict hygiene protocols during all aspects of care delivery.
Maintained clean environment with due consideration to health and safety issues and infection control policy.
