Personal Qualities

I am an extremely calm and patient as a person with (I believe) a good sense of humor. I have an interest in Equine therapy, and a passion for working with rangatahi. One of the most rewarding roles I have had the privilege of being a part of was providing specialist care for adolescents through a Multi-Dimensional Treatment Foster Care (MTFC) program that lasted from 6 months to 18 months, per client. I had a psychologist as my supervisor whom I reported to daily behavior and attended supervision very week. We were trained in a program based on a points and level system developed in the United States upon completion the young person was then re united with their main caregiver or family.
