  • Assisting with budget and forecasts while monitoring the progess each beginning, mid month and end of month ensuring targets are met.
  • Analyzing pricing structures and sales trends, while monitoring market conditions and competitor activities. Monitor inventory across all properties, ensuring availability is clear, and showing. Putting in restrictions, if required, to maximise revenue. OTA insight/Lighthouse being used as tools for comparison of market rates.
  • Liaising and building relationships with distribution channels. Liaising with channel managers for specials, creating packages and strategies to build revenue.
  • Interacting with South Island hotel general managers and Regional General Manager and working closely with them to meet targets, work on any need dates.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with travel agents - both corporate and wholesale to gain business.
  • Quoting for group bookings in a timeless manner, ensuring time and date of year are reflected in rate. Blocks are monitored and followed up regularly to avoid any loss against hotels. Following up on rooming lists and providing accurate information to hotel operations.
  • Providing guidance and support to sales teams regarding pricing policies, discounts and promotions.
  • Assisting with general FIT and group reservation enquiries via phone and email. Efficient turn around for reservation enquiries to convert bookings.
  • Health and safety secretary, running meetings and assisting H&S manager when required.
